pineapple express


well, as we all know... it's pineapple season!!
so what can we do with this $4 pineapple???



I. FRIED RICE IN A PINEAPPLE BOAT

ingredients

Step I: In the order of 
shrimp - pork - veggies - pineapple pieces,
fry the ingredients in butter

Step II: Season the rice with hints of garlic salt and pepper,
then mix the rice in soy sauce


Step III: Once fried, move the rice onto the pineapple boat
(You can actually taste the sweetness 
of the pineapple when eating out of the pineapple boat!)




EASY but DELICIOUS


II. PINEAPPLE JUICE


Just blend fresh pineapples with apple juice and orange juice
for a fresh, tasty juice!!

I wanted to try something different and use bold colors ~
the different colors and food best represent their personalities and characters

chicken is obvi her fav & she's as bold and strong as 'red'






MODEL 2: SERENA
she loves sweets & she's always so qt and bright like 'yellow'






MODEL 3: AUDREY
milk is basically her diet & she's as cool and calm as 'blue'






MODEL 4: NAOMI
she shares her love for pastries & she's bubbly and cutesy like 'yellow'

valentines day + heidi's bday cookie making ~ ♥

~ rainbow heart cookie ~

Live253 is back in time for Valentines Day and Heidi's birthday!!

& make cute cookies ~ 


Step 1: Mix 3/4 cup of butter, 1 1/4 cup of powdered sugar,
a pinch of salt, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 
3 egg yolks (*Keep the egg whites for later use!),
and 2 1/2 cup of cake flour

 

Step 2: Roll the batter into a ball


Step 3: Cut a 1/3 of the batter for vanilla dough
Then divide the remaining 2/3 of the dough 
for rainbow colors (6 colors)

Step 4: Add food coloring to each of the 6 squared doughs


Step 5: Roll the colored rainbow dough into a ball

 

  

Step 6: Once done, flatten the dough out with a roller
(Use two 0.5 cm thick notebook/book to use as a 
measurement tool to even out the width of each colored layer)



Step 7: Then, stack the rolled out colored layers on top of 
each other, gluing them together with egg wash
(To make egg wash: mix egg whites with 1 tablespoon of water)


Step 8: Lightly press the stacked layers,
 then cut the stacked layer into small strips (1.5 cm wide)

Step 9: Following the diagram, cut out the hearts



Step 10: Stack the hearts with egg wash

 

Step 11: With the 1/3 vanilla dough, roll out strips of the dough
to cover the line of hearts

Step 12: Refrigerate until the cookie dough hardens



 

Step 13: Once hardened, spread egg wash over the cookie dough,
then roll it in your choice of sprinkles



Step 14: Then cut the dough into smaller cookie pieces


Step 15: Bake the cookies at 335°F for 10-15 minutes
